Staniel Cay is just over a mile square, with a native population of about 120.  The island is a favorite vacation spot for cruising yachtsmen and private pilots, with good anchorages and a paved, 3,000 ft runway. There is a little village with General Store, Grocery & Gift Shops, Church, Clinic, three Restaurants/clubs and Community Picnic Beach. Activities include snorkeling, shelling, beach combing, star-gazing, exploring other islands, and enjoying the Good Life. Because Staniel Cay is so small and not serviced by major airlines, not too many people hear about it. That's its charm and beauty...and why you will return again and again.

There are no ATMs on the island,.  Only a couple of locations take credit cards, for a fee.
